Hey beautiful human -
Last week, I ran two live sessions of AI Confidential.
They were free, beginner-friendly, and deeply imperfect.
Here’s the truth:
I was nervous.
I talked too fast.
I packed in more than I could realistically cover.
And I forgot that silence isn’t awkward - it’s necessary when people are learning something new.
But here’s the other truth:
People showed up.
They asked questions.
They told me what helped.
And they were honest about what didn’t.
Here’s what you told me worked:
– Clear explanation of the top 3 tools
– Seeing demos in real time
– Entry-level approach
– My enthusiasm (thank you for that)
– The interaction
Here’s what you said needed work:
– Pace (too fast at the end)
– Confusion between phone vs. web versions
– Not everyone was logged into ChatGPT ahead of time
– More structured examples
– Space to pause and think
– Permission to not rush
I heard every word. And I’m not defensive about it - I’m grateful.
Because this is how I want to build: openly, iteratively, and without pretending I’ve got it all nailed down.
I’m going to keep testing and improving.
I’m also going to be clearer about what to expect before each session - so you’re not scrambling to log in or figure out which version I’m using.
Most importantly: I want this to be a resource for you.
So if you have a question about AI - anything at all - hit reply and ask.
If I don’t know the answer, I’ll find someone who does.
No judgment. No jargon. No sales pitch.
And as always - you can unsubscribe any time. No guilt trip. No drama. (Just a thank-you for being here this far.)
Still learning. Still building. Still mostly human.
💜 Deb
